Mechanical Engineer

Your tasks

• Participation in multi-week training sessions in the USA (Bradley, IL) in a very appealing working and social environment. The training sessions are held in intervals of up to 2-3 weeks depending on  the special machineries built in the USA.
• Personal assignment to specific machines, targeted training for assembly/repair tasks of these machines. These assignments will always be conducted in pairs with experienced US and/or Austrian personnel.
• Execution of assembly, revision, and repair works
• Technical coordination with the responsible product manager of the respective machines
• Responsibility for meeting deadlines, providing feedback on potential technical improvements during assembly, and regarding the mechanical/electrical construction of the respective machines
• Interface to the customer and department head “SERVICE” at the American mechanical engineering company
• Continuous feedback/reporting and communication with the Austrian deployment manager
• Keeping hourly records (work/travel) based on existing templates
• Awareness and consideration of technical regulations, as well as quality and safety standards

Your profile

• Completed education in the mechanical field, mechanical engineering (apprenticeship, master craftsman, technical college, etc.), mechatronics, etc.
• Experience as an assembler in the field of mechanical assemblies
• Very good German and English language skills in both written and verbal communication
• Proficient in PC usage
• Team spirit, “hands-on” mentality, high flexibility, and willingness to travel
• “Out-of-the-box thinking” and adventurous mindset

• Depending on qualifications, a gross monthly salary of at least EUR 2800.- will be paid. There is a willingness to offer higher salaries for additional corresponding qualifications. Daily allowances will be paid in full to the employee net. Interesting secondment packages are also offered.
